When I try to download PSMDB Linux generic,
I see too many options for each distro.
This kind of defeats the purpose of generic tar.gz - we want to provide
one package that runs on multiple platforms, not the packages for each platform.
Can we look to provide a single generic tar.gz?
UPDATE - 2018-11-12
Agreed upon strategy will be to ship OpenSSL 1.1.x and any other necessary shared libraries with the packing. chrpath or patchelf can be used to modify the shared library linkage and make it relative to the binaries location.
