Today

grpc_server_handled_total generates ~ 3,900 metric series on a default deployment of 2.28. Of these entries only ~1,000 have non-zero values. We should strive to minimize the number of metric series submitted to Victoriametrics.

Desired State

When we submit only non-zero values we reduce the submitted metrics by 60% as we're now submitting about 1k rows
