With https://jira.percona.com/browse/PMM-10272, we added support for MongoDB physical backups. While pbm can detect the backup type during restore, we should:

double-check to see how it works/if there's needed changes.
add a compatibility check for pbm versions so we don't attempt to restore physical backups on an older pbm version
