      Description

      Introduction

A customer would like to use PMM server but do not have the ability to access external resources from their servers, therefore docker pull is not an option. They would like to have percona.com host the docker image for pmm-server and make it available as a tar package so they can download it and then copy it to their servers. This is so that this customer can deploy across multiple groups internally in order to increase adoption of PMM.

It would look something like this:

      agustin@bm-support01 ~ $ docker pull percona/pmm-server:1.1.3
      1.1.3: Pulling from percona/pmm-server
      45a2e645736c: Pull complete
      ...
      Digest: sha256:5310b23066d00be418a7522c957b2da4155a63c3e7b08663327aef075674bc2e
Status: Downloaded newer image for percona/pmm-server:1.1.3

      agustin@bm-support01 ~ $ docker save percona/pmm-server:1.1.3 > ~/pmm-server_1.1.3.docker

      how to import docker image

      docker load -i pmm-server_1.1.3.docker

      Tasks

      1. Build a pmm-server_VERSION.tar package and deploy to percona.com/downloads
