Different HTTP auth users for Client and Server

In my opinion, it is very strange that the HTTP auth user must be the same in the clients that the one used in the server.

Nowadays, anybody who can view the credentials in the client could login into the server as the admin.

I can understand that you have to provide to the client the server user and password when you connect to the server from the client but I think that you should be able to configure the client (the exporters) with a different auth user and password.
