      Description

If PMM client was monitored by monitored by Server1, removed his monitores from Server1 and added to Server2, it stills keeps monitored by Server1.

      To reproduce:

      sudo pmm-admin config --server Server1
      sudo pmm-admin add linux:metrics
      sudo pmm-admin remove linux:metrics

      sudo pmm-admin config --server Server2
      sudo pmm-admin add linux:metrics

The server will be monitored by both servers even if we removed it from Server1.

      The fix I found is:

First remove the monitors from your current instance:

      sudo pmm-admin remove linux:metrics
      sudo pmm-admin remove ... #other monitors
      sudo pmm-admin uninstall

Aftewards change to your old server instance (note, if pmm suggests executing pmm-admin repair, execute it):

      sudo pmm-admin config --server oldIp

Re add the monitors and remove them:

      sudo pmm-admin add linux:metrics
... # add the other monitors you had
      sudo pmm-admin remove linux:metrics
      ... # remove the monitors
      sudo pmm-admin uninstall

Wait a couple minutes until your old server does not refreshes the old instance anymore
