Currently, we use only pg_stat_statements module. It does not provide query examples, only fingerprints (queries with placeholders instead of values). As a result, we can't implement EXPLAIN action.
While we can make a dummy query from a fingerprint by replacing placeholders with some constant values, EXPLAIN on that query may produce a different result than the real query due to known statistics, indexes, etc. We should also use correct types for dummy values as PostgreSQL query parser is strict and will not accept, for example, a string where only integers can be used.
Maybe that is not a problem, and we should do a dummy query solution. Or maybe we should wait until we implement query log parsing.
