The default high and medium metrics resolutions were changed to 1-5-30 and 5-10-60 sec.

The Goal:  For now it's hard for End-User to have "1 Second resolution" because they need to use API call.

We need to provide a way to set this on UI

 

User Story:

As PMM Admin user I need to be able to use the slider to set a Higher resolution (1sec) for my PMM server so that I can see more detailed data

 

Proposed Solution:

1) change defaults

The current Metrics Resolutions are

• 5-5-60 (HR) ,
• 5-30-300 (MR),
• 60 - 180 - 300 (LR) 

Proposed values: 

• 1 - 5 - 30
• 5 - 10 - 60
• 60 -180 - 300

2) On the next PMM version upgrade, all current setting having the values equal to 5-5-60 will be changed to 5 - 10 - 60 (the resolution will be set to Medium)

DOC:

• Documentation must be updated to include the new defaults.
• Mention defaults changes in Release notes

Out of scope:
If the user already changed the resolution to some custom values - we'll not touch them and will do nothing on UI to highlight this
