Description
Suggested implementation:
1: pull all upstream changes to a branch;
2: compare published metrics by the latest upstream and current Percona PG exporter;
2.1: include all metrics that are absent via separate collector;
2.2: consider extension points in existing code, make all modification in our dedicated package;
2.3: minimize changes in upstream code, because it will cause merge conflicts down the road;
What should be done:
Upgrade version of PG exporter we use in PMM
Why:
The new version arrived with fixed and new features
Benefit:
PMM user will be able to have recent fixes and able to play with new features/metrics
