    Description

      The 5.7 refactoring fixup for the implementation of

      DB-937 :  5.7 mtr engines/funcs and engines/iuds tests failing

      original implementation https://github.com/percona/percona-server/commit/cd266379139e39fe4435a42c2923c54c32cb7bd1

      and refactoring fixup https://github.com/percona/percona-server/commit/c66efd0e564c0b4c9203e1075576e71908cfa687

      introduces a potential regression on UPDATEs that could cause an index inconsistency to occur under certain conditions.
