Missing component_*.so Binaries in percona-server-server 8.0.16-7-1.bionic

Upon installation of MySQL 8.0.16-7-1 on Ubuntu 18.04.3 from the Percona APT repository, I discovered that component_validate_password.so was missing, along with other component_*.so files that are present in, for example, the YUM RPM packages for CentOS 7.

I had to copy the component_*.so files from a CentOS 7 machine to /var/lib/mysql/plugin to make validate_password work on Ubuntu.

I also tried downloading the DEB packages for Percona Server for MySQL 8.0.16-7-bionic and they too were missing the component_*.so files in /var/lib/mysql/plugin.
