Description

In Percona Server for MySQL 5.7 we have slow query log rotation. https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.7/flexibility/slowlog_rotation.html

Can we please implement this for Percona Server for MySQL 8.0

I also suggest that we enable it by default. suggestion:

slow_query_log_file = /var/lib/mysql/slow-log
max_slowlog_size = 1G
max_slowlog_files = 5
