LP #1227317: pt-checksum is Missing Key Feature

The software is not able as far as I can tell to do row or mixed replication. This is something that we would very much like.

We were told in conference that there is technically a work around, but the steps involved seemed initially a bit cryptic. I am guessing that maybe it's possible to do this with statement replication turned on and that won't affect row replication. Is that really correct? If so, please update instructions to more specifically detail operation to do this.
